Nordstrom $10,000 Scholarships
This scholarship is for high school juniors who live and attend school in a state where Nordstrom currently has a full-line store. Scholarship selection criteria includes: academic achievement and potential, community/volunteer activities, school activities, leadership, employment, awards/honors, and financial need.
Applicants must have at least a 2.7 GPA throughout high school and volunteer or participate in community services or extracurricular activities. Applicants must plan on attending an accredited four-year college or university in the US during the four years over which the scholarship is distributed; and plan to apply for financial assistance to attend college.
A scholarship of $10,000 is paid out in equal installments of $2,500 each year.
All scholarship finalists will be interviewed in person or via video conference
Applicants must have not been convicted of any crime.

TheDream.US Scholarship
_ Today, the TheDream.US announced a new multimillion dollar National Scholarship Fund for DREAMers, created to help immigrant youth who’ve received DACA achieve their American Dream through the completion of a college education.
It provides college scholarships to highly motivated DREAMers who want to get a college education but cannot afford it. Our scholarships of up to $25,000 will help cover your tuition, fees, and books for an associate’s or bachelor’s degree at our partner colleges in NYC, Miami, Washington D.C., El Paso, Rio Grande Valley, and online.
To be eligible to apply, you must:
· Be a first time college student applying to an associate’s or bachelor’s degree program at one of our partner colleges,
· Have a GPA of 2.5 or greater (or equivalent GED score), and
· Be DACA eligible and have applied for or received DACA approval.

Our Scholars commit to their own academic achievement and to help build a National Community of DREAMer Scholars which provides peer-to-peer support and and mentoring to each other and future DREAMer Scholars.
Our Scholars will be selected and announced no later than May 15, 2014.
